RSS Subscribe Unable to receive emails at Albany datacentre - RESOLVED

THIS ISSUE HAS NOW BEEN RESOLVED

One of the storage servers in our shared mail cluster is having performance problems. This is resulting it delays in downloading mail via POP and IMAP for approximately 1/2 of the mailboxes. At this stage our providers suspect a failed disk is the problem. They are investigating further and we'll update this announcement when we have more information.

Our providers have replaced failed hardware in one of our mail storage nodes. Some customers will notice a password prompt when downloading mail until we have recovered the storage server. All new mail is being queued for delivery once the storage is available again. We apologise for the inconvenience caused by the outage.

Mail is now available for download. We had to failover to a secondary storage server to recover. We will review the recovery this week to determine a faster way to failover between storage servers.
